Mission Statement:
Community Healing All Together, Inc. (C.H.A.T.) is dedicated to fostering collective healing by uplifting individuals and strengthening communities. Our mission is to improve the quality of life, and disrupt the cycle of abuse by creating safe, trauma‑informed spaces that promote healing, education, community outreach and accessible pathways to resources.

Empowering communities to make informed health and wellness decisions that support whole-person wellness through education, outreach, collaboration, advocacy, and referral navigation.

Roslyn Collins, LMSW & Executive Director
Licensed Therapist | Health Coach | Advocate
Roslyn L. Collins, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience supporting individuals, organizations, and communities through trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. She is also a proud U.S. Army Veteran, bringing a disciplined, service-driven approach to leadership, wellness, and community resilience.
Throughout her career, Roslyn has provided counseling and crisis intervention, facilitated restorative healing circles, developed community-based programs, and delivered wellness workshops, trainings, and speaking engagements for nonprofit, corporate, and grassroots organizations. Her work is rooted in empowering girls, teens, and women to build confidence, heal from adversity, and step fully into their strength.
Roslyn’s work is deeply personal. Her journey has been shaped by lived experience, resilience, and perseverance. As a Black woman who has navigated trauma, systemic barriers, and gaps in support, she brings both professional expertise and authentic understanding to the spaces she leads. This intersection of lived experience and clinical practice informs her compassionate, honest, and strengths-based approach to healing.
As Executive Director, Roslyn is a passionate, purpose-driven leader who believes that collective community healing is essential to lasting social change. She leads with a culturally competent, community-centered philosophy that nurtures the whole person while addressing trauma, systemic inequities, and domestic violence. Through her leadership, she continues to guide individuals and communities on meaningful wellness journeys grounded in dignity, empowerment, and hope.

The Board of Directors is one of Community Healing All Together, Inc. (C.H.A.T.)’s most valuable resources. Our governing board is composed of dedicated leaders who demonstrate a deep commitment to the well-being of the communities we serve and a shared belief in the power of collective healing.
Through thoughtful governance and community-centered leadership, the Board plays a critical role in guiding C.H.A.T.’s impact, growth, and sustainability.

Drew Brotz
Drew is passionate about sharing knowledge and building community. Serving youth, Drew brings a restorative approach to workforce development. Working with emerging adults aged 15-25, he guides the development of soft and hard skills required to thrive in the workforce.

Airean Boykin
Airean is a Buffalo native and graduate of the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. She brings more than 15 years of experience in banking and customer engagement. Airean is passionate about community empowerment and supporting initiatives that promote growth, opportunity, and positive impact.

Rodtrice Matthew
Rodtrice Matthews is a skilled Senior Case Manager with the Erie County Department for the Aging, committed to enhancing the well‑being and independence of older adults. I possess a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. I previously empowered young girls from elementary through junior high by developing and leading school drill teams. As a survivor of domestic violence, I bring deep empathy and strong advocacy to her work with C.H.A.T. supporting victims with compassion and strength.

Tanika is the CEO of Events by Tani and Creative Sensations Travel, a visionary leader with over 15 years of experience creating and executing exciting concepts through strategic planning, innovation, and fun-driven development.

Simmone Leverette
Simmone is a Real Estate Broker / Owner / Developer, who brings experience in strategic planning, risk management, contract negotiations, and long-term sustainability development. She focuses on helping organizations think beyond immediate needs and plan responsibly for future expansion.

Pastor Bertha Brinson
Senior Pastor Bertha Brinson of Covenant of Grace Ministries, Inc. leads with faith, conviction, and divine purpose. Rooted in Morning Star COGIC teachings, she empowers others spiritually, mentally, and physically. A 2016 Human Services graduate from NCCC, she is an entrepreneur, upcoming author, and inspirational speaker.

Sabrina Timm
Sabrina, MSW, FPA, is a community advocate dedicated to strengthening families and advancing community healing. She supports caregivers navigating mental health, education, and social service systems. Sabrina contributes to OMH’s ReCAST “I Am the Change” Coalition and the Families Together NYS Family Advisory Board.

Amelia Reese is a financial professional dedicated to making financial literacy accessible. She acts as a resource for individuals seeking safety, stability, and regaining their independence.

Justine Harris
Justine is a woman that not only believes in God BUT trusts God with every fiber of her body. She is a mother of one daughter, Javaughn and proud grandmother of two young ladies, Justice and Jade. She is a retired Buffalo Police Officer. Justine is a graduate of Erie Community College where she obtained her Registered Nurse license. Her motto is to serve and protect.

Leighton Jones is a Buffalo-based Community Strategist, Organizer, and Cultural Engagement Leader committed to building spaces where culture and community meet action. His work spans strategic planning, civic engagement, public programming, and brand development — always centered on amplifying community voice and creating sustainable impact both locally and nationwide.

Athenia Cyrus
Athenia is a PhD student in Engineering Education and research assistant focused on community development, engineering systems, and equitable access for neurodiverse, marginalized students. With an MBA and interdisciplinary training, her work spans maternal health, workforce development, research, and real estate, advancing justice-oriented, community-centered solutions.

Jada Marie
Jada’Marie is a licensed natural hairstylist, educator, CEO of Jadaa Mariee Beauty LLC, and founder of The Slay Academy and JMB University. She partners with schools and community organizations to equip youth and young women with confidence, hands-on skill development, and introductory entrepreneurship education. Through mentorship and workforce exposure, her work focuses on ownership, leadership, and creating pathways that turn creativity into income and talent into long-term economic mobility.

Jenny Velez serves as a Captain and Community Policing Coordinator for the Buffalo Police Department, leading citywide initiatives to strengthen police - community trust and advance evidence-based violence reduction. Promoted four times since 2013, Cpt. Velez brings expertise in public safety strategy, collaborative leadership, and community engagement to build sustainable, trust-based partnerships in Buffalo.
